These terms govern your use of realestateknowhow.ca and anything you buy from us. By using the site or purchasing our material, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Real Estate Know How is operated by Wise Raven Media Inc., a company incorporated in Nova Scotia, Canada. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Wise Raven Media Inc.

What you are buying

We sell digital educational material for Canadian home buyers and sellers — written lessons, checklists, scripts, contract guides, and interactive tools delivered through an online member area.

• Access is delivered immediately after payment, to the email address you provide at checkout.
• Access is for your personal use and has no fixed expiry. "Lifetime" means for as long as we continue to operate the member area. If we ever discontinue it, we will give reasonable notice and let you download your materials.
• Some purchases unlock only part of the library. What you get is described on the page where you buy.

This is the most important term on this page. Please read it.

Everything we publish is general educational information. It is not legal advice, financial advice, mortgage advice, tax advice, or real estate advice for your particular situation, and it is not a substitute for retaining a qualified professional.

• No professional relationship is created. Buying our material does not make us your lawyer, your agent, your broker, or your advisor, and we do not represent you in any transaction.
• We are not a licensed brokerage. We do not trade in real estate, list property, or represent buyers or sellers.
• Real estate law differs by province and changes over time. Contract wording, cooling-off periods, disclosure duties, and agency rules are not the same across Canada. Our sample clauses and checklists are starting points for a conversation with your own lawyer — not documents to sign unreviewed.
• Have a real estate lawyer review any contract before you sign it. Nothing in our material replaces that step.

You are responsible for the decisions you make. We are not responsible for the outcome of any transaction you enter into.

No guarantee of results

We make no promise that you will save a particular amount of money, obtain a particular price, or achieve any particular result. Any figures used in our material are illustrations, not forecasts or guarantees.

Your account

• Accounts are for one person. Do not share your login.
• Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Tell us promptly at support@realestateknowhow.ca if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

What you may and may not do with the material

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use our material for your own real estate transactions. You may download, print, and fill in the checklists, scripts, and templates for that purpose.

You may not:

• Resell, sublicense, publish, or otherwise distribute the material.
• Share your access with others, or post the material publicly or in a group.
• Use the material to build or deliver a competing product or training course.
• Scrape, copy in bulk, or use automated tools to extract the content.

All content remains our intellectual property.

Pricing and payment

• All prices are in Canadian dollars and are charged as a one-time payment unless clearly stated otherwise.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• We may change our prices at any time. A change never affects a purchase you have already made.
• Promotional pricing is available only while it is displayed.

Refunds

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. The full terms are on our Refund Policy page.

Referral program

Where we offer referral commissions, they are payable only on completed purchases that are not later refunded or charged back. We may change or end the program at any time. Self-referrals and misleading promotion of our material are not permitted and forfeit any commission owed.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change, or remove features and content. We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms — in particular one that shares or redistributes our material. Where the breach is serious, no refund is due.

Third-party links

Our material may link to other websites and to third-party professionals. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, services, or conduct.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the site or our material is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost opportunity, or losses arising from a real estate transaction.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable Canadian consumer protection law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of that province have jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting any right you have to bring a claim where you live.
